E. Ros Huff, Jr.
A native of Augusta, Georgia, Ros Huff received his undergraduate degree from Augusta College in 1972 and his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1976. He was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1976. He was an attorney with the United States Small Business Administration in Columbia, South Carolina and Chicago, Illinois. From 1981 to 1992 he served as Chief Counsel for the South Carolina State Workers' Compensation Fund. From 1992 to 1998 he served as a special counsel with Nexson, Pruet, Jacobs and Pollard, LLP in the Columbia, South Carolina office concentrating in workers' compensation defense. In July 1998 he embarked upon practice as a sole practitioner concentrating in workers' compensation defense. He is a frequent speaker for a variety of organizations on the topic of workers' compensation. For several years, he was co-author of Workers' Compensation in South Carolina, published by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce. He has served on the editorial board for the South Carolina Bar Publication on the Law of Workers' Compensation in South Carolina. He has over a dozen cases decided in the South Carolina Court of Appeals and Supreme Court. He is a member of the South Carolina Workers' Compensation Educational Association and is licensed to practice in South Carolina state and federal courts.
Shelby G. Hapeshis
A native of Kingstree, South Carolina, Shelby received her undergraduate degree from The University of South Carolina in 2003 and her Juris Doctorate degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2006. She is also a 2012 candidate for Masters in Tax Law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law. She was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2006. She was a Law Clerk and Attorney at Huff Law Firm, LLC from 2006-2007, prior to becoming a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Carolyn C. Matthews at the administrative Law Court in Columbia, South Carolina. She is a member of the South Carolina Workers' Compensation Educational Association, Richland County Bar Association, South Carolina Bar Association, and the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association. She is currently serving as Vice President of the Florida Coastal School of Law Alumni Association-South Carolina Chapter.
